Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 years to 34 years as on 01-07-2012. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess LCE issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training A.P., of any other qualification equivalent thereto which are recognized by the SBTET.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/-  towards Application Fee and Examination Fee Rs.120/-  (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs.100/- towards application fee is compulsory for all Applicants. The amount must be paid at AP Online Centers/State Bank of India in the form of Challan download from the APSPSC website after submission of basic details.

Selection Process: Selections will be made on the basis of Written Test (Objective Type).

Selection procedure for APPSC recruitment 2013 for Assistant Engineer

Candidates will be selected based candidates performance on the written test which will be of objective type. Based on their rank, merit list and zonal preference they will be selected for allotment to Service/ Department for the available vacancies.

The written examination for APPSC Assistant Engineer will be of objective type multiple choice questions which consists of Two papers and the pattern is as follows.

Paper I – General Studies – 150 questions, carries 150 marks and time duration to complete is 150 minutes.

Paper II – Concerned Subject – 150 questions, carries 150 marks and time duration to complete is 150 minutes.

APPSC Assistant Engineers Exam Syllabus: The Syllabus for APPSC Assistant Engineer Exam Paper I will have General Studies where you will get questions from General Science, Current Events of National and International Importance, History of India and Indian National Movement. India and World Geography, Indian Polity and Economy, General Mental Ability, General Science and Disaster Management.

The syllabus for APPSC Assistant Engineer Exam Paper II is of diploma standard on concerned subject where you will get questions on topics from Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics.
